Frequently Asked Questions

About Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning costs are typically covered by the guest, with the owner only responsible if they stay at the property. Maintenance is considered part of the property’s regular upkeep and is paid for by the owner. The only exception is if damage caused by guests or Frank Porter staff necessitates maintenance.
We have opted to use distinct Cleaning and Maintenance companies to ensure high-quality service. Both companies are fully licensed, and our staff receive training in the Frank Porter standards. We handle all cleaning in-house and only outsource highly specialized maintenance tasks. Our teams are specifically trained and skilled for their respective roles.
If a Frank Porter staff member accidentally damages something during cleaning, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the owner.
We strive to address all maintenance issues within a few hours, with a team available for call-outs throughout the main areas of Dubai. While major issues might take longer due to the need for parts, we aim to resolve everything within 24 hours.
Generally, no. Coordinating third-party maintenance quickly for guests can be challenging, and delays often result in unhappy guests and refunds. By using our own teams, we can better manage timing and avoid these issues.
Basic cleaning tools, like a vacuum and mop, must be available at the property during onboarding. However, the Frank Porter cleaning team will supply cleaning materials on an ongoing basis.
